Biography of: Rev. Dr. Adam Cheeseman
Rev. Dr. Adam Cheeseman is the pastor of West Union Baptist Church, having taken on this role in July 2024. He has been preaching the Gospel since 2004 and is heartfeltly committed to his faith and community. Dr. Cheeseman aims to help people find salvation, restoration, and a genuine connection to Jesus Christ.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Alderson Broaddus University, a Master’s in Biblical Studies from Liberty University, an Educational Leadership certificate from Salem University, and a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership from Liberty University. His extensive education informs his approach to ministry, which blends spiritual guidance with effective leadership.
Dr. Cheeseman served as the superintendent of Doddridge County Schools for eight years, focusing on creating a supportive environment for learning and growth. His educational background shapes his pastoral care approach, emphasizing spiritual and personal development.
At West Union Baptist Church, Dr. Cheeseman leads a vision of worshiping the Lord, being a unified body of believers, standing firm on God’s Word, and fulfilling the Great Commission. He encourages his congregation to engage in meaningful worship and community outreach, making a positive impact locally and beyond.
Dr. Cheeseman is married to Lisa, and they have three beautiful daughters: Aleigh, Addy, and Anna.
